Best Ruy Lopez player

Who in your opinion is the best Ruy Lopez player ever?

Fischer, far and away

Karpov.

Fisher for sure!

Karpov for the white side. Spassky and Aronian for the black.

Never heard of Fisher, but Fischer was a master of the Lopez.

Kasparov is the best white player and rarely lost. Kramnik's Berlin Wall makes him the best black player.

Paul Keres was a great Ruy Lopez player with both colours. Well worth looking up all his games in this opening.

Karpov by far , he was good both black and white sides of ruy lopez. 

Would second BonTheCat's view on Keres. Definitely worth further study. 

Are we judging best in terms or results? Theory? etc?  Kramnik changed the RL forever with his Berlin.
