Ummm...excuse me proKnight98, you have not addressed what I consider a valid argument for "vote transference"(if you were drunk, that is...)!

Ha! ha! seems the boy is growing-up fast, refusing to be baited by you.

I remember when proKnight98 would address my silly fantasies...I guess those days are over...

How do you have so much power? Aren't you worried that you may be intoxicated with power proKnight?

I'm just wondering what time that would be in CET?

And GMT :P

But Spain knows the value of a good siesta, so it's not always the right time for football.

theoreticalboy

Heh, I did understand that without the translation; my Spanish isn't irredemiably wretched Wink

There's no indifference; there are forces of evil, made to increase the hegemony of dull, physical pragmatism, and there are forces of close-to-good-considering-the-circumstances, who keep alive the spark of imagination and beauty (though the game may be too rotten for the romance to remain).  You can't be neutral on a moving train, ey?

gambit13

I also dislike ManU but support Chelsea. So awesome that they got Torres.

ProKnight98, I'm not filing my protest now, since BFS666 will winSmile But, during February's CPOTM, I will file my protest, with your parents, for not addressing a poor woman's right to transfer votes(that is, unless you get signed to Barca)!

You're right.  I hate ManU with a venom a mamba would envy.  I wish I could just ignore them, but the ubiquitous English-speaking media force feed ManU's greatness down my throat like I'd die without my weekly dose of ManU.  Hey, where's Ronaldo?  Oh right, Spain.  Forgot about him so suddenly, eh.

The EPL is guys running around playing pinball.  La Liga, the beautiful game.

The beautiful game... marred by much ugliness.

Man Yoo are hardly the worst offenders, and for a while they were actually capable of playing some decent stuff.  In terms of outlay/quality considerations, Chelsea and Liverpool are the most atrocious offenders, and Man City are gaining fast.

Tip: if you're ever in need of incredulous amusement, read the comments section for any BBC Football blog.  Some of that shit beggars belief.

Ah, I'm watching Milan vs Lazio now.  Always a pleasure to watch Ibra; pity things went so sour at Barca, because for the first few months he was spectacular.

Gerrard, really?  Yeah there's a reason he doesn't perform at international level, and that's because he's very much an all-out PL-style player; the man has no nuance, but can hit a cracking shot and can run past bulky defenders.  But it has to be spectacular.  English players need to move abroad to play, teach them the value of ball retention.  Look where it got Spain.

theoreticalboy

Make no mistake: Milan won that CL for Liverpool.  Liverpool thrived by pressure, waiting for their opponents to make mistakes.  It was an indictment of football that they won that trophy: the highest accolade in European football, held aloft by Djimi Traore and Steve Finnan.  What a dark time...
