I suppose if there are way fewer nominees, to the point where the only nominee is the person one wants to vote for, then that vote will have a lot of meaning. But I think this month's candidate list is already past that point. I can't see enough scandals erupting in the next 2 weeks to eliminate 17 of the 18 current candidates.
Actually, that vote would have no meaning.

It should be noted that you need at least two candidates so that QuantumEraser can be assured of coming in second.
