Too bad Ding didn't make it against Wei Yi. Not that Yi didn't deserve it: forces stood so equal that winning actually was a matter of chance. Even Ding admits he himself is just a little river or hill Wei sooner or later will surpass in his way to the top. It's just that Yi is too young and will hardly get past Svidler or Giri/MVL, which Ding was probably more prepared to do.
