who is your favorite chess player(s)??i like Mikhail Tal and philidor

Capablanca,Fischer,Morphy,and Steinitz come to mind.

i like fisher more than the other 3 you mentioned

Peter Svidler, he seems like a cool guy.

Kasparov he's stayed great for so long and his concern for Russia is admirable because i just want to see Russia do well and it seems to be on hard times. Fischer he's the james dean of chess. Carlsen he could be the next michael jordan so its fun to watch to see where he goes. and Hikaru Nakamura cause he's fast has an attitude, plus you can watch his bullet games on youtube, I Like the idea of a great internet chess gm who is more feared for his bullet chess. I like a lot of current players 

My favorite two chess players were the two that taught me how to play: my father and my brother - if it wasn't for them, I never would have started :)

As for my favorite famous chess players... Kasparov and Susan Polgar.

josh waitzkin. He is inspirational.

Vishy, Khalifman, Topalov, Pologar....I admire all masters of chess; but the recent masters have learned and upgraded much of chess play for today's practictioners to study.  Chess grows.
