The Sinquefield Cup just finished, Gukesh finished 8th out of 10. Has he even won a tournament since the match with Ding? Meanwhile The Magster is winning tournament after tournament or at least finishing near the top.

I think the record between Carlsen & Gukesh since Gukesh had the match with Ding is 4.5 to 2.5 in Carlsens favor in classical. I think the win % in faster time controls is even higher in Carlsens favor. Do results even matter? People are talking about 1 game like it's the ONLY game they've ever played.
