Inside the minds' of cheaters

Already 7 of my last few opponents have been banned for fair play in daily and rapid games. I usually have suspicion about the strength of these players and I am very impressed with Chess.com for detecting them. I would like to hear from any of the cheaters out there why they put the effort into cheating? (Given that cheating is so prevalent, some cheaters are bound to read this). It seems pathetic to me to cheat on a free website but I am open to hear your side of the story. Thanks for reading.

Probably they like the idea of being banned from the site. Usually their accuracy is very high, but it would also be interesting to know what is the actual method used to detect them.

@sacandmate I agree. They must get amusement from being banned and trying to ruin the site for honest players. It's their shamelessness that I don't understand. I wonder how this attitude extends to other areas of their life.

As mentioned above you can discuss cheating related issues in the cheating forum club but not in the regular forums
