I Googled "Is the second amendment intended to allow for chess pieces with AK-47s in a shooting competition at the Olympic Games," and it wasn't very helpful.

I think you now have a moral obligation to write that thread, or you risk disappointing the whole chess.community.

I certainly appreciate that you enjoyed the remark. I might create that thread sometime in the future, now that there's demand for it but in the meantime I have... shall we say a few other ideas I'd like to try out.

It should be a great match! I hope it isn't decided by those random 960 games. They really detract from the event. Carlsen lost a 960 game to Grischuk because he forgot about the castling rule in 960. It's a bad joke to have those games as part of a blitz/bullet match.

If they split the 960 games, they shouldn't be a major factor.
