i am a filipino, the philippines rejoice in the winning of filipino grandmaster wesley so overivanchuk and other grandmasters like shirov, and many other prominent names of grandmaster of todays chess. gm wesley so is so young and is a promising grandmaster of todays youth of grandmaster.,but iam also sad that ivanchuk threatens to end his professional career at chess.when im beaten by lesser and younger opponents i also feel the same way and like also to stop playing chess, perhaps ivanchuk must have felt the same way.its a matter of time before im back on being normal after i am beaten by younger opponent.
Ivanchuk: Losing to Wesley So = End of the World. Robbed at gunpoint = Yawn.

though young, wesley is considered one of the geniuses that came from my own country and im of course proud of that,,
i've actually opened this post not because i read the name ivanchuk but because i saw the name of my fellow pinoy..
what a nice story.. though it happened years ago i never know that wesley defeated such a great chess player once.. (i'm not actually tracking their games that's why..)
thanks for this links..^_^

for all those who love Wesley So
the honor of wesley so beating ivanchuk, kramnik and shirov, for once, does not only bring honor to filipinos and philippines but to asians as well sir ponnupazoozu, may i remind you that you too is also asian and from singapore.i admire and envy you for nice picture and diagram posting along with songs as i have notyet learned to do those things. we are also proud tobe filipinos inother sports like boxing because of manny pacquiao and to many billiards greats like efren bata reyes who are all filipinos, and who also is a part of excellence that philippines bring to the world of sports.
