It's to do that. My rating dropped through the floor boards. I had to start taking every single game seriously. My problem was I was playing when I was in the middle of other thngs.
I've been playing like it's nothing now I will play like I should!

I have learned from experience that each and every game counts, no matter what your rating is. It doesn't matter whether or not your opponent is weak or strong either. Play your best chess, always.
That's true but while I do try playing my best I find it more satisying by imposing 'limits' to myself.Thus against a person with a rating of approximately 1000 I would give 'queen odds'. Of course it pays to win the first game te confidence boost is equivalent to the rating of your opponent in comparison to yours...
I just lost two games I feel I should of won by taking the games lightly,No more.
