I thought he only played Kasparov when he was 13 yrs. old or something?

They played two games in Reykjavik, Iceland in 2004. Carlsen was not yet a GM, and Kasparov was over 2800. The first game Magnus had white and obtained a winning position, but the game ended in a draw. The second game Kasparov won quite clearly. These games were rapid, not classical time control. These are the only official games they have ever player, but they have played many private games i think when Kasparov was coaching Carlsen. I think these games were blitz.
