one idiot just called me a chess player

Now, I realize that I play a couple games here once in a while, but that does NOT make me a "chess player"! What should I do?

Well turn it around on him and insult him by calling him a chess player.

The only time I remember a similar occasion, I was at Spurs, Tottenham Hotspurs, when this bloke came up to me, I don't know who it was. And he said, "You're a chessplayer."

And I said, "What did you say?"

And he says, "You're a chessplayer. A frigging chessplayer."

And I said, "Hold on. Who are you calling a chessplayer? You frigging chessplayer!" 

I showed him didn't I? I mean, you have to stand up for yourself. I wasn't going to be dictated to like that.

Why, thank you! That's the highest praise I've received in a while!

And yes, I'm capable of taking are of myself. Well... for the most part. Sometimes it helps to have external forces assisting me with that task, such as deadlines that help me overcome my habit of procrastination, but overall I'd say I'm doing a decent job taking care of myself.

this is the wittiest post I read in years this must be inspired by the post from about 4 days ago where some one posted that a chess.com player called him an idiot -  I give this post four laughing faces out of five -

I just reported a guy that told me this:

"Hallo Panda das wünsche ich auch☺"

That kind of language shouldn´t be tolerated.

He even added a smiley face... 

Give us his name Panda, we'll get him at play time.

@macer: Block, report, turn off chat, lock the door, get security cameras, get a body guard, take up self-defense, buy a gun, move to an isolated island.
