People are crazy about getting to first
I always want to advance but I don’t think being first is always necessary (unless you are in champion and want to advance to legend)
I feel like advancing in 3rd place is the same as advancing in first place (elite and lower leagues)

Right. But it’s very easy to lose because of the time. A normal bullet player can probably only win 1-4 of those games. That gives at max 3x4=12 trophies. It’s not even the same as a rapid game. If you lose the rapid game, you can play another one. You surely can’t keep on losing.

What do the first people who advance to legend league get again?
There are prizes for the first Champion division. The first place will win $10,000 and be the first to advance to the Legend league.
The next 3 to make it to the Legend league will be in the first 200 to make it to the Champion League, so they would get year long diamond membership.
It is not clear if numbers 5-50 to make it get any prizes but they did say there will be special Legends Club with its own events and prizes.
