How do I report someone who is sandbagging on chess.com?

armand984

I am not sure honestly, I have come across a couple players that were. Though to be honest, the best way to learn is to play stronger players and see what they do, so maybe it helps a few others in the long run.

you know you're sitting in front of a computer connected to the internet and could look the answer quicker than you could post the question, right?!!?  but here i will tell you:

A more extreme form of potato sacking, which is a more extreme form of tea bagging. Basically, it's tea bagging to the third power.

I looked it up and didn't understand the answer. So I asked the forum. I still don't understand the answer.

That is okay. You study English as a second language, so there will be some nuances that you wont understand. It basically means that you drop your rating on purpose so you can face people lower than you, to destroy them.

oh. thanks. I really couldn't get that from the online dictionary. So its like a sandbag slows down a bullet, so you're slowing yourself down, your skill. I get it. thanks.

Sandbagging is not as rife as It used to be, because of all the Arena stuff going on.

I've had about 20 people list their score at 400, but then when I play them, they are much higher.

Armanda984, that is not the point. You mostly learn by playing people who are your score, 400 vs. 800 is not going to fly.
