Just watched "Bobby Fischer Against the World" and was struck by a print in the movie:

This is a screenshot and I even did a reverse image search but could not turn up the source of this!

Any thoughts on where I could find this drawing? I want to get a print of it as a gift.

Inserting the image usually helps increase the number of views/ potential responses.

Thanks! Sorry - didn't know that was possible.

If you watched the video, it credits LeRoy Neiman with that drawing. It is showing behind Neiman being interviewed by GM Larry Evans on ABC's Wide World of Sports.

A real piece of art.

Good luck on finding a print. Neiman prints can be pretty expensive. The image may have been reproduced in some of the books of Neiman's work but it doesn't appear to be for sale online.

I did find a description of Neiman's attendance at the match in one of his books, which is available on Amazon.

All Told: My Art and Life Among Athletes, Playboys, Bunnies, and Provocateurs

According to the book, Neiman was flown in to Reykyavik by Wide World of Sports after Fischer had the cameras banned. According to the book, Fischer wasn't too happy with Neiman's pen scratching either. Fortunately, Neiman had quieter graphite pencils and the match was saved.

Thank you so much for looking into this! I should have done this diligence myself but I appreciate all of it.

Actually contacted the website for Leroy Neiman and received this response:

"Thank you for the inquiry. Unfortunately, that particular image was never made into a print. Regarding other collections, the only works LeRoy Neiman made of Bobby Fischer that I know of are drawings. And due nature and value these pieces, the works are only available through our gallery Franklin Bowles. "
