First I think I'd make sure they weren't dead by listening and watching,  then I'd give 'em a few minutes to wake on their own. I'd probably nudge 'em in the shoulder or something after that.

Probably get one of the hosts to wake him/or up. I personally don't like it when random people touch me and I don't want him to use that poke as an excuse to get rid of me.
