Conflicts between superadmins

I wondered where leftanoid went, had no idea he was slobbering around the internet like a drugged balloonist.😺

Yes - and 'team member' sounds tacky.
Indeed .
BTW– good idea to show some support for Ukraine on this occasion! I sometimes forget to reset the "flair" of my profile to that flag.
Somehow - the flag disappeared from my handle.
Have fixed that now.

Only appoint admins or super admins who need those privileges and you'll never really have this problem. Make it clear that someone abusing their power gets banned.
admins cannot promote or demote.
Superadmins can promote or demote - except for the owner.
Ths SA promote and demote buttons don't function against owners.
However - and apparently - SA's can demote other SA's.
And however ridiculous that might appear to be - if one thinks it through ... it might be realilzed it has to be that way - in spite of all the problems that such a thing causes.
The 'thinking through' is that 'absent owner' situations happen constantly in chess.com clubs.
So then an SA may have to take over the running of the club.
And he may have to demote another SA very quickly.
The inane part is that that could be a 'button war' - with he who demotes first 'winning'.

The Rigelianoid account isn't just closed.
All of its posts have disappeared too.
As to how that works in practice - say an account is muted and then the muted person closes the account - do his/her posts and messages stay 'disappeared'? I would think so.
Same if its banned or otherwise closed by the website.
I've heard that one can request for all one's posts to be deleted - but that could be just a rumour.
Something extra-suspicious about that account though.
Plus member search indicates 'not found'. That's not a common thing.
Perhaps a name change just before closing?

Sometimes closed accounts are anonimized too, changed to something like "x-123456689" or changed to "account-inactive".

Hi @Ximoon !
I've seen that twice - with the x-number. The two accounts closed at apparently the same time.
It was suspicious. And possible that they were the same person.
And - non paying accounts do get some 'flair' options.
