While the vast majority of players display good sportsmanship, there are, unfortunately, a few that do not. They are immature and lack the social graces of people of good manners. If we are going to enjoy the game for its own sake we have to take the bad with the good and be the bigger person.
Unsportsmanship behaviour

So i was playing with this person in one of the tournament. She is rated lower than me. I blundered a piece early game and she started saying "ha, i have more piece now. you are doomed!"
To which i just replied, "maybe XD". I honestly thought she was being funny.
Bla blu ble.
around 10 to 15 moves later i came out with a pawn ahead. and I said, "From the looks of it, im a pawn ahead."
Started calling me a crybaby and told me i have a small penis. I mean, really. I thought we're all gents and ladies here. Why cant we just play chess, have some fun and there is no need to call names because at the end of the day, its just a game of chess. A game that we all here love very much. Truly Im disappointed with the community and probably the lack of report button. If this is a real tournament, he/she would be ejected from the tournament. I know this is an online game so chatting isnt wrong but saying indecent stuff is.
So please, Chess.com support. Go make an automatic loss button if a person has typed in any indecent word for whatsoever reason. Please. And ban them from playing for a period of time. And if they keep doing it, ban them for a longer period.
There is no place for indecency in this beautiful game that we call "Chess".
report to chess.com by writing a support ticket

Why, when some one has a less-than-optimal experience with one person in private conversation during a game, would he project that behavior into "Im disappointed with the community" and complain about it publicly in the forums?
If it's really so offensive, be proactive and take a screenshot (Alt+PrtSc) of the offensive conversation, then submit a ticket: https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new

I usally get comments during live games... some very funny ones. One american( Il like the majority of them) had to go on and on about my fck country Norway...:) and the funny part was that he never spelled correct. Called out country comunist and kept going on. Until i wrote back..... I know one thong for sure... we have free health care...He was very angry afther that respons.. I do belive I hit some nerves...

Norway IS a cool place... I hear it can be a cold place too. But I thought Gandalf came from Middle Earth?

i also faced some issue like this....my oppnent was typing a lot. although that was not indescent but that was too much. how can one type so much while playing? is there a tool for cut pasting while playing ?

Really??? You're complaining about someone insulting you on the internet? Here's a tip, ignore them.

I had a really good respons today....:9
I played a 1 min game and I won on time. The position was prettey much the same.
But the opponent wrote this:
You are a timeplayer!!!
What do you expect when you play a 1 min game... Hahaha what a stupid player

Agreed with Konev13, simply ignore them. It's a matter of choice : bother or ignore them? I guess the choice is much easier than choosing which move to make over the chessboard :)
