Since the Muzychuk sisters are doing well in the World Cup, I was reminded of the other strong siblings of chess Tatiana and Nadhezda. I think they were one of the strongest chess playing sibling pair even amongst the open section. I recall their incident with the coach vaguely in 2015 or so, but forgot all about it later. But now they've all but disappeared. Where are they? Are they still coaching or playing? Was it not possible for them to switch federations to continue playing chess as many players do now? More importantly, how did we suddenly lose a pair of 2500+ GM women from chess because of a conflict in personalities? And why is there no one in the chess community curious about it?
