What on earth happened to Peter Leko?

He became a great commentator nevertheless

Just stumbled across this old thread so I thought I'd offer the same thoughts about him that I've been saying for twenty years. He came up very young but with an old player's skills--a remarkably comprehensive knowledge of the game, and being very tough to beat. But he never seems to have had a young player's skills--creativity, the ability to improvise in the middlegame, to knock his opponent off balance with the unexpected--so he hasn't really improved since then. He was 33 when he was 23.

So, now is he like 70?
