Whats better?

Usually the Rook is better. The Rook is worth an estimated 5 points of material and the Bishop only 3 points.

The rook is far more powerful than the bishop...the rook can eat literally everyone on the board but the bishop can't depending on which colour the piece is

Everything depends on the positions actually.  But, in general rook is better. There can be some positions where a bishop that's well placed controlling critical squares can be much better than a rook that's stuck.

I realize this is your thread @micahhessig but please no spamming in the public forums. There are private chess.com clubs you can join which allow spamming, but chess.com doesn't want spamming in the public forum threads. 

The original forum question has been answered, but if you wanted additional information, then one "bump" or small post would be sufficient

Potentially yes, but more likely they will get a warning or temporary mute. Banning is more of a last resort or something for only the more serious offenses.

There are chess.com clubs designed just for spamming and those are okay though (those clubs are "private" whereas it is only the public forums spamming isn't allowed.
