i cant go in untill i have approx preformance rating of 1700 but that takes much theory study  and positional understanding which is things i cant even asses or find help in determining how good am i in it , i plan to coach my self so i have naturall developement but that comes at the cost of me  not knowing when am i ready  .

when you join a federation it takes  nine gamesto give you rating and having the good depute is important , i dont want it to happen like school where i get a slightly poorer result than i would expect

wiselady

you should be like fozzie bear:

waka waka waka

and join your federation

1700? Is this their rule or your own idea? If it is their rule, they must have a very small group as 1700 probably weeds out well over 50% of the chess players out there.

1700 is my idea of a tournament level player or you get annaihalated , 1700 means that you have studied enough study and need some more emagination and calculation strenght to get started

Yes,that is part of the process. Everyone at 1700 went through that.

Besides, how will you know you are 1700 if you don't play in their tournaments?

materialistic16

i know that when i stop getting forked or skewered and can play 10 - 15 moves without getting to think much , and by the way we dont have much tournaments in my country so you can imagine how the pressure is

Yeah, maybe you're tight. I hadn't had my tea yet and was reading it a 'hainging pieces'.
