I know he has his faults but i still cant help liking him...
Who is the most sympathetic gm in your opinion?

I saw an interview with Karpov once and he seemed a very nice guy indeed..These gm ''s are mostly complicated people I think...
Chess is not art Urk, it's a sport
What are you even talking about?? Are you actually from the USA? Hiding behind a different flag than where you are from?
Calling Garry Kasparov articulate just means that he is good at communicating his thoughts in a coherent manner. That has nothing to do with whether you consider chess an art or a sport (my opinion: it's both).

From personal acquaintance: Ronen Har Tzvi, Ilan Manor, Gadi Rechlis, Ram Soffer - are all extremely friendly people. GM Gofshtein was one too.

Spassky is reported to be quite the gentleman. I once got to spend several hours with Gligorich, and he was extraordinarily gracious and personable.

Anand gets snappy in press conferences occasionally, but he is very classy and well-respected by all the big names in the chess world. A few years ago he opened the doors of his home to flood victims in Chennai, India. Genuinely a nice person.

Yes I'm from Texas. I was joking.

Ah. Sorry for the overreaction

That one GM that started at 30 yrs and became GM by 42, he's pretty sympathetic, but I don't remember his name.
My choice would be Gary Kasparov...
