A site for players to see their Chess960 rating percentile

I recently started playing chess 960 on chess.com and as I tried to see what my percentile was I realized that the site doesn’t support statistics for live chess960(!)

So I used chess.com’s free and open api to pull the network of chess960 players to get a sufficiently large sample to do statistics on, and put this site up 960stats.com if anyone wants to check their percentile or read more about the methodology.

A fun tidbit I learned was that according to modeling my 960 player network with a Hill saturation growth curve it seems there are around 600K players that have been active this year. If any statisticians want to yell at me for making various assumptions I’d honestly be happy to hear it lol.
