^if you're wondering why I changed the colour of the letters and numbers, it's to remind myself that we're playing with hunter, not guard. I often analyse with that cat as the guard because it's a more convenient piece to use.

Yeah but your knight was under attack so you had to react. f3 was probably better than castling but maybe not, I mean I have a lot more activity than you. A semi-open g-file at least gives you some rook activity. Maybe it's just better for you to be a pawn down with attacking options, than materially equal but passive.

I don't mind trading witch for bishop, but you don't have to accept and I'm not keen on the tension. I'm ok retreating and reorganising after I've grabbed a pawn.

Ry, are you ok with the cat as a piece for hunter? It's convenient as it's near the top of the list of pieces. There is no piece in the musketeer set that matches the hunter.
