To win: Capture all piece!
Actual game of fun. Classical chess seems a little bit boring, so I made this variant in ChessCraft. Promotion still works fine, promoting to queen. Not only that, but it can still promote to rook, bishop, and knight.
Try my variant if you want.
It only works as a chess variant.
Step by step:
1. Go to "Edit position."
2. Press "Symmetric editing."
3. Press "Presets" and then "8x8."
4. Place all pawns in the first row and all pawns in the second row.
Tada! Your chess variant editing for black is ready! Now it's your turn to make yours! I also made a 4-player version.
Reminder: This only works on laptops, MacBooks, iPads, Windows 7 to 11, and other supported devices. On a Samsung phone, go to the three lines and press "Desktop site," and you're good to go!
Since Chess.com editing pressing "?" pops up "more coming soon", I searched Perplexity and showed the answer that are useful! Thats why AI first!

1: yes. First row pawn can! Black's back row pawn also do! And 2: Yes! Why? Because pawns can en passant. But if White pawn at 6th row, Black at e8 move to e6, can. Or Black's pawn at third row and pawn first row moved 2 square, yes. Unless en passant is not allowed

So we said yes. In ancient chess, pawns cannot move 2 square forward at first move and en passant is not allowed
