Balancing Horde with a white king

I might quite like to play Horde in daily chess on chess.com using a custom position.
However, custom postions only work if you have a king on both sides.
If you were to give white a king in Horde chess, how would you best balance it? I heard a king is worth a knight in fighting value, would removing three pawns work?
