Are these pieces and promotions as found in dai shogi?

• 歩 to 金
• 銅 to 横
• 銀 to 竪
• 金 to 飛
• 角 to 馬
• 飛 to 竜

The traditional 桂 promotion is pretty weak, especially on a 12×12 board, so I request it promote to western knight, denoted by 騎.

I also noticed that for whatever reason, sente has 2 銅将, and gote is handicapped by instead having 2 鉄将. The traditional promotion for 鉄 is also weak.

I am planing to add 獅 鳳 麒 (歩 to 獅). How are you this idea?

I like playing with the 獅 a lot, but considering that your idea seems to be having all the metal pieces advanced, this is impossible to introduce cleanly without adding a pair of 仲 to reach army, which would mess up the harmony of the larger pieces. No problem with 鳳 and 麒 being added.

O.K. Let's play Lions' variation!
