Bulldog Challenge Game (Martin0 - captaintugwash)

This is a Bulldog chess with Witch Challenge Game between @Martin0 (White) and @captaintugwash (Black).
Captaintugwash earned the right to challenge Martin0 by winning candidate game final "captaintugwash vs. HolographWars". In game-1 @HolographWars defeated @JustARandomPatzer. In game-2 @captaintugwash defeated @evert823. The four players in the candidates tournament were selected by the bulldog chess federation by a combination of ELO score and nomination based on factors such as history of former opponents.
Game rules for bulldog with witch can be found (here).
The opening board is here:
Martin0 plays White. Good luck to both players!
The format is complete BS, one game doesn't mean anything, a match would 10s of times more accurate. Since the games are correspondance, you can have multiple games at once. To prevent one player from mirroring the other, you could have a rule where the games must deviate by a certain move.

It's more a question of time. These games already take a while, especially when it's me vs Martin. It's taken us ten weeks to get to move 17.

The games will be simultaneous though, assuming that the longest game will last ~50 moves, the match will last a maximum of 6 months.

One game is too unbalanced though, you should at least make it two with both sides playing both colours.

If you have concerns about the Championship-cycle format, you should probably do it at a different thread or start a new thread. You can even do it in the bulldog chess club. Discussions in the middle of a game can be distracting.

I really wanted to play Rjb8 and just go all out attack but I don't think it's smart to leave my king in the centre.
