I don't see that announcement in this thread. If you did it in another thread I can easily have missed that

@GreaterPlayz seems to have become inactive, so we cannot ask him if he agrees to continue the game.

due to both of us not being very active, how about we just pretend it never happened?

What happened is pretty simple.

@jdh1 did not post that he started vacation time in this forum and he lost on time.

Whether the opponent has been online since is pretty irrelevant. Maybe he would have lost on time if you made a move, but that is not the universe we are living in.

Coincidentally, I went pretty unactive and honestly I sort of lost interest in bulldog chess so I forfiet, GG.

The OP of this game contains a link to the Correspondence Chess Rules for Variant-Chess. The funny thing is, these rules explain everything about vacation time, but not that it must be announced in the game forum.

But actually this speaks for itself. You cannot expect your opponent or your mod to keep track of notices posted in any other thread. You can also not post your moves in an arbitrary other thread and expect your opponent to know about it.

Yes, good point. However, we both went inactive simultaneously, so I think we should treat the game as if it never happened. Especially since Greater Playz downright resigned a few posts ago

Also, can a time victory even be claimed by a mod? Greater Playz never declared a time warning personally or claimed victory
