f5 is pinned because because of Qi8#, which is why I was going for that pawn.

I think I was considering giving up the rook for bishop because Gg4 is coming, and a guard on f5 is a beast.

h4 probably is bad though.

Not seeing a problem with i3 though, other than weakening my pawn structure a little.

i3 and I think white has an advantage. 

Rad1 instead of Rae1 was the difference. If you attack the knight I have Rhe1 to cover it.

Maybe even Nxf4 Rxf4 Gg3 Rf8 Gg4

Oh wait ignore that one, the knight doesn't protect the guard.
