In fact I'm looking at that again and simply Rxd4 and white is hopelessly lost here. I think it was lost before this move.

Instead of 20. j6 we need Be3 to prepare castling and threaten Bxj7+, while also stopping Bg5. I think white looks ok here.
After 20. j6, 20... Bg5 just wins on the spot.

This was the Final game of the Candidates Tournament (#4) and so Patzer has earned the right to challenge the current bulldog World Champion @captaintugwash for the Title.
Background:
The bulldog World Champion for ages has been @Martin0 - he has defended his World Champion title against seven challengers, which he earned after winning the Title from @Junebug444.
But in just less than a month ago, Martin0 lost the title to captaintugwash (in this game).
So Patzer will be playing captaintugwash in the next Title game.

Yes this is very bad for white.
21. Bd4+ was necessary to save the game, allowing 22. Qxd3, removing that very strong knight... black wins back the piece because the bishop is pinned, 22... c5, but white escapes, even winning a pawn. I think that's where it goes terribly wrong for white.
