It doesn't appear to be but there are variants of it.

Letchworthshire

Capablanca is a win for white and has been proven for 20 years. That’s why Gothic Chess was invented, to adjust the initial bad distribution of the pieces in an otherwise beautiful variant. Games are action packed and can be tactical fire fights or sneaky strategic maneuvering battles.

There’s known busts to Capablanca most info is on this page:

For example the weak i-pawn:

Leads to white just compounding attacks against it and undermining it viciously

There’s also a way to exploit the inward displacement of the Bishops:

You can’t fianchetto and you can’t protect the b-pawn either which leads to the baiting of sneak attacks that are doomed and can trap your queen:

Letchworthshire

Compare that to the amazing well-balanced attacks in Gothic:

Letchworthshire

An even better one:

Gorgon_Slayer

I used to play capablanca and embassy on chessvariants.org but switched to Gothic once I found out about it. Once you get over the Queen and King not being next to each other, the rest of the game familiarity comes naturally.

Agree that Gothic fixes Capablanca perfectly.
