Chess on an Infinite Plane (captaintugwash - gyrados06)

It's definitely an interesting game so far. This will surely put my strategy to the test.

I have a potential problem approaching, I have electric work going on in my house in March and I'll have to be elsewhere for two weeks. Not sure yet if I'm going to go to my Mom's, or go on holiday somewhere. If it's the latter, I'll have to take a break.  I appreciate that infinite games can take a long time, so even if I'm on vacation I will try to make some moves, but I'm in no position to promise that yet.

I'll move here later today.

Remember the rules for vacation time are (here). Two weeks are allowed in addition to the 3-days. My interpretation is that you're allowed to make moves while on vacation - for example 2 moves during the two week vacation is OK. Just make sure to announce your vacation before you use it (and for each game you want to use it).

It''s better this way, it speeds the game up. The alternative is I simply don't move for maybe two weeks, which is not ideal.

Which hawk? I know it's obvious, but both can go there.
