Chess Variants

Does anyone know why not many people play the Chess Variants. Personally i would like to play them but it is so hard to get a game on going.

Tbh, I think it’s because you can’t play them from the app, they are PC only. Kind of a bummer as it really limits the available player base.
I love the variants, but sometimes just don’t want to sit at my computer. FYI, lichess has some (not all) of the variants in-app, and you can play against a Computer, so that’s a nice way to scratch the itch via mobile if that interests you.
