Chess with a supply wagon piece

Hi guys, I don't know if anyone already came up with this idea, but I think it's quite an original one. So, basically, the idea here is to restrict the movement of pieces on the board, but not completely and here is the catch. We would invent one new piece (supply wagon) that can move just like a king, and as long as this piece is on the board, the player can move his other pieces as much as he want. If your opponent capture your supply wagon, then the movement of your other pieces become restricted. They no longer can move infinitely, but each piece would have a certain number of allowed squares to move. I came up with some arbitrary numbers: King - 8 squares Queen - 32 squares Each Rook, Bishop and Knight- 16 squares Each Pawn - 4 squares The other way of restricting the movement is perhaps to have thr stack of sqaures (arround 200) and then it's up to you how you would like to spend this reserve. Where the supply wagon would be placed? My idea is to give a player a choice - what piece or pawn you would like to replace the supply wagon with. So basically you can choose the starting position of your wagon, but you need to sacrifice a pawn or a piece for it. Obviously if you give up a pawn for wagon, you lose less material, but your wagon is more exposed. If you give up a small piece, you lose more material, but your wagon is kinda safer behind pawns. P. S. - Wagon cannot capture other pieces What happens if one player runs out of the squares? A would call it a stalemate, cause there are legal moves for one player. You think it's maybe not fair? Well, I don't think so, cause even when wagon leaves the board, your opponent will have many moves before he runs out of squares. And yet, his pieces' movement will be restricted, so if you don't manage to mate him before he runs out of moves, then it's a stalemate and a draw. This also gives a hope to player who lost a wagon cause it doesn't mean he immediately loses the game, but he still has some chances
