Another question: a king wouldn't be put himself next to a joker, correct? Also, a joker moving as a king could check a king, because the king's special rule about not being able to be next to another king wouldn't apply to a joker, correct? Seems pretty straightforward mostly, I think, but wanted to double check.

A King cannot move next to an enemy Joker because:

- the enemy Joker would start imitating the King's movement and capture abilities

- as a consequence the enemy Joker would give check to the King, and it is not allowed to do a move after which your own King is in check.

In the scenario where a Joker would be imitating a King and then move next to the King, the other player could undo the check by moving another piece, e.g. a Knight.
