"En passant chess". Every slider (bishop, rook, queen, and pawn when they double move) can be taken en passant by any chessman, that is along their path of moving the turn just after they made a move without a capture.

That one is the most interesting variant to me so far happy.png Although anything where you can end up with unlimited queens would be nice

Is your username supposed to be Hollywood?

Avatar of wollyhood

Hmm, define "supposed". Sounds like some kind of subjective viewpoint, or is a nick the property of the purveyors rather than the creator? Wow this got heavy fast.

Why are is your username relating to a city in California when you are living in New Zealand?

You'd have to ask my parents, Kasaschewan and Brew Nunswick.

So you nominate where the tunnel is made, AND where the tunnel comes out, at the time of digging?

Most of these variants do not even seem to satisfy the rules you laid out... A 'tunnel' definitely changes how the pieces move. As does bouncing from the edges.

Anyway, at least @togepi2468 created a variant. No one else did.

I created a variant!

Okay anyways my variant is played on a 10x10 gameboard, and there are two rows of pawns.
