Circular Chess Online

Rules: Same rules as regular chess, except with a few rule changes just like in Double Chess. Any move that moves a piece around the board and back to its original square will not be permitted. A pawn is promoted after moving six squares from its original position. Castling and en passant are not allowed in this variant. 

Participation- Just say sign-up to play, and the first two players to do so get to play this variant.

@2Ke21-0 is white and @DukeOfHelsinki is black. The time control is 3 days per move with no vacation time. If a player has not moved in 3 or more days, a timeout warning will be called. Players have 24 hours to respond after a timeout warning. Circular chess is a popular variant with a whole branch of theory dedicated to it. Right now, it is @2Ke21-0's turn

The starting position is essentially obtained from that of orthodox chess by cutting the board in half and bending the two halves to join at the ends.
