7五獅
I wonder what kind of opening you'll aim for this time. 3五歩, 5五歩, 8五歩, and 10五歩 are all playable. I normally would play 3 or 5. 8 can be tricky. 10 is the most passive of the four options, and also the most solid. Of course there are lots of ways to transpose, but it's nice to be able to pick up a little move order advantage here and there.
5五歩
It is difficult for me to see the nuances of each move, but I choose 5 because I like this diagonal open. Would of course be possible to do later on.
I've recently considered how much time it takes to properly play the style of chu shogi that I do. Perhaps in large part due to my tactical mediocrity, it was my conclusion that the time control would have to be at least as long as 3 hours full byoyomi (1-minute periods) for me to play my style at an acceptable standard. I could never tolerate playing such a long game of chess, but for chu shogi, I suspect even a time control of 5 hours full byoyomi would be acceptable. Short games stress me out too much. It's like mixing 1700-rated tactical strength with 3400-rated positional play and strategy - so frustrating.
This is a chu shogi game to be played between dax00 and @KaijiAUT .
Time control: byoyomi - 1 day; extensions - [1 day] ×30
I have sente. よろしくお願いします。
