Ok.
FAVORITE CHESS VARIENT?

Orda is one of my favourite chess variants, a fairy piece chess variant in series that have been created by CouchTomato87, played with different armies.
In this chess variant, the classical western army fights against the Orda army.
In the Orda army,
Two rooks worth 5 points each are replaced by two lancers worth 4 points each. Lancers move like a knight, but capture like a rook.
Two knights worth 3 points each are replaced by two kheshigs worth 7 points each. Kheshigs combine the movement of a king and a knight (Centaur).
Two bishops worth 3 points each are replaced by two archers worth 4 points each. Archers move like a knight, but capture like a bishop.
The queen worth 9 points is replaced by a yurt worth 2 points. Yurt moves 1 square diagonally or 1 square straight forward (just like Silver General in Shogi or like Bishop (Khon) in Makruk).
Also, pawns start on third rank and so there is two square movement straight forward in their first move.
Also, there is no castling.
In this chess variant, the classical western army with a total strength of 39 points fights against the Orda army with a total strength of 40 points.
Although the classical western army is a bit lower in strength when compared to the Orda army, it has the first move advantage.
Although the Orda army is a bit higher in strength when compared to the classical western army, there is the disadvantage of inability to maintain a pin by a piece when chased away, given that no piece moves unlimited number of moves either horizontally or vertically or diagonally without capturing.
But, unlike the two Bishops in the classical western army which are colour bound, no pieces in the Orda army are colour bound.
Besides the pawns of both the armies which are of equal strength to each other, it is impossible to trade a single opponent's piece for a single same valued piece of a player.
In addition, there is a new type of winning called the Campmate. If a player is able to march the king first to the other edge of the board without being in check, then that player wins the game.
In my opinion, the endgame for the Orda army to Checkmate the king of classical western army if Campmate is absent would be interesting.
In Pychess, there is Campmate for all fairy piece chess variants in series that have been created by CouchTomato87, namely Orda, Synochess, Shinobi and Empire with different armies Orda Mirror without different armies, except for Shogun without different armies, in which captured opponent's pieces can be dropped off in the first 5 ranks only and piece promotion occurs in the last 3 ranks.
Players can play this chess variant at Pychess, either normal games against other players either rated or unrated, or as arena tournament games which happens for 1½ hours every month with an initial starting time of 3 minutes with 2 seconds increment for each move. It is also possible to practice against AI of different skill levels in Pychess, as that same website is heavily Fairy Stockfish based and so adding any new variant there should also implement AI for game analysis, although addition of new chess variants is suspended there for working on other features of the website to improve overall user base there.
In Pychess, shield arena tournaments for 4 hours every month, for every chess variant other than whatever is available in Lichess and Chess.com (Classical western chess, Crazyhouse, Chess 960 and Atomic) and Lishogi (Shogi) will be held every month in a couple of months from now and the winners of a shield arena tournament should defend their title during the next month it is held. In August 2021, shield arena tournaments are already started for Crazyhouse 960 (second Monday of every month) and Atomic 960. In September 2021, shield arena tournaments are already started for Shinobi and Makruk.
By the way, shouldn't Chess.com rename Gothic Chess to Trice's Chess, the new name that was adopted in 2020 in order to avoid confusion with the same name of a medieval themed 8×8 chess brand?

orda mirror is better imo since it is balanced

@Ilampozhil25 and @Diwaditya
In Pychess, we previously discussed that it is not possible to play 2 human player online games of Musketeer chess connecting 2 different computers in any other website right now other than herokuapp server at musketeer-chess.herokuapp.com.
This is not true.
2 human player online games of all Musketeer chess variants connecting 2 different computers can be played at
https://musketeerchess.net/joclymatch/gamespanel.php
2 human player online games of all Jocly 2 player strategy games connecting 2 different computers which support 3D interface and all of which are not necessarily chess variants can be played at

WW2, a variant which pits a shogi army against a chess army with or without drops. I designed a chess variant which balances the shogi army (buffs it) cuz chess is more op than shogi by adding another bishop for a bishop pair on a 10x10 board and a new drunk elephant which moves like a king but can't move directly backwards. plus silvers promote to bishops and golds promote to rooks
