Fog of War bug/glitch where capturing isn't possible

I came across this bug/glitch that's occurred for the past 2 games, where I can't capture my opponent's pieces. In the game, i'm about to capture the black pawn, but when I click on the black pawn to capture, it doesn't let me capture and 2 circles show up showing where the black pawn can move. I can see the options for pawn promotion.
Hopefully this issue is fixed soon or if someone has a solution for it
