I'm not sure what you're referring to, to be honest. Are you talking about saving sidelines so you can export to a PGN or something like that?

I think if you go to https://www.chess.com/variants/custom/analysis, when you start setting your pieces, the FEN for that game appears in the window on the bottom-right.
In this screenshot I've circled that in red:

If you paste the FEN of your custom position in that box and click "Load," your position will be loaded on the board.
I don't think you can save a PGN of those custom positions, but you can always copy/paste the FEN into a text doc and save that on your PC.
