How do I change piece color in edit position?

Trust me, I tried every possible direction, speed, and movement. You just can't. But I have a solution, even if it's tedious, it works. Use "Symmetric Editing". Tap on Symmetric Editing when you're in Edit Position, it is at the top of the list I think. Then you put your White piece where you want your Black piece, disable Symmetric Editing, then swap the black and white piece around and then delete the White piece. For 4 player chess this is gonna be even more tedious, but I have a better, more permanent solution. On phones, trying to change piece color in edit position doesn't work (from my experience) but I kind of remember that, on my tablet, it worked! So either you try Symmetric Editing or use a tablet or computer. (it might not work on tablet so don't take my word for it)

I understand your problem 181Egg181, my friend had the same problem. But with me, I can change the colour of the pieces. You just need to go to ‘Symmetric Editing’ and you can change it there.
It just says click and slide to change color

Bruh I keep clicking and sliding bu it doesn’t work
Hold the piece down, then you'll eventually see three colors;
White.
Black.
Grey.
Yeah, but it doesn't work, probably because I use an iPad

NOTHING WORKS 
Go to Edit Position, click on the piece you want to change, then select the new color directly from the options. The farben should update right away once you confirm.
To change a piece color in Edit Position on a chess app, just clear the square first and then pick the piece of the color you want to place there from the menu. It’s simple once you try it a couple of times, and feels a bit like setting up the board your own way.
