How to *actually* get achievemnts for playing chess variants

If you ever played a chess variant, you may have been confused that you cannot unlock achievements for playing variants. I had this problem for ages: the truth is that, you can get some of them and cannot get some of them. 

in order to obtain these achievements, you will have to use the Chess.com website, not the app; you can only obtain the chess960 achievements with the app. Now go to the Play tab, and select Custom. 

Now scroll down until you see a button saying "Normal". I am not sure if it does say "Normal", but it will have a chessboard icon next to it. If you click the button, you can select variants such as Chess960, 3 Check, Crazyhouse and Doubles-Bughouse. By playing in this menu(which is called "Live Chess Lobby"), you can obtain the achievements for variants. 

Unfortunately, you cannot obtain achievements for 4 player chess. Plus, I don't know if this is only me, but you also cannot obtain achievements for King of the Hill as it redirects to the Variants lobby.

Battle Royale Achievement is not obtainable ??

Also, It didn't work for me on website of variants or custom. I went to STATS > ( variant ) > PLAY

It had 0 rating for my variant in stats so after playing 10 game sof each

*games of each.... I got all achievements + official chess.com ratings :D

I used the site to play them from the "play" server, however didn't get the achievement

If you didn't get the achievement check that you were in Live Chess Lobby, not Variants Lobby.

No matter what I do, 3 Check and Crazyhouse opens up in a new tab called chess.com/variants/3-check or crazyhouse. Same with 4 player .
