Janus Chess Players Meet Here

If anyone wants to play Janus Chess, meet here to look for another player. 

I have only played one game of Janus chess. I did not like it that much. Maybe it was because the Janus (Archbishop) looked so comic-like and inappropriate on the website I played.

Ok I tried that green chess link but like where is everything? Janus is a large board variant but it was not listed there.

Arch, have you made any movies of Janus games? Which do you prefer, Trice's Chess or Janus Chess?

Janus is my preference but nobody here accepts challenges for it. I didn't make the movies for Trice's Chess I just copied them from the website. Trice's chess is my second favorite variant.

I played Arch at Janus yesterday and he annihilated me. I need help with my Janus openings.

I didn't do anything spectacular you just missed a simple check then you overlooked a tactic. That would kill anybody. You were playing too fast.

Strategically I was already defeated.

I made the move Jg5 almost as a joke since nobody would play f4 in that position. Then you played it. I couldn't believe it. If you're going to try and chase a Janus with a pawn and you miss that the pawn exposes your king to a check then what can I say you need a good whack. Lol.

I was struggling to not hang material and especially to not get mated by your Archbishops duo. I may have been close to lost even before f4.

I thought I was good at Janus but I just got crushed in a blitz game. Guy was unbelievable.
