Just thought of a variant

So I was showering and thought if this: Chess 2!

-each piece can be taken normally, or by abilities

-abilities take away 1-3 “hp” from a piece

-bishop is now a wizard. Every move, it can shoot a blast that moves like a rook that takes away 1hp. It has 2hp

-knight is now a paladin. After each move, it can heal any piece for by 1hp. It has 3hp

-rook is a catapult. It can lob a rock over a piece, but only one square over, dealing 2hp. It has 4hp 

-queen, idk its name, but it would be able to smite anything in a 3x3 radius, dealing 3hp. It has 5hp.

-king is normal, but abilities do not affect him. The pawn also has 1hp and no ability.

i know this gamemode complex, but it was thought of by me in the shower so…
