In version II, it’s interesting, the AI seems to aggressively attack the Witch, much more than I was anticipating. Not that it’s necessarily a bad thing. I guess the AI thinks that by eliminating the Witch must really increases the odds of winning.

Hello,
Please give this a try and see if it works.
Version I
Knight of the Queen’s Curses I
In this variant the Queen is cursed. It starts in a form resembling a Knight and moves and captures the same way as an ordinary Knight. The only way to remove the curse is to land on any of the four corners of the board. The curse returns as soon as the Queen captures another piece. If the Queen captures a piece on a corner square, they must leave the corner and return or to any of the four corners to remove the curse again.
You can play the AI. The online mode works. You need to create a game, get the code and share it with another player.
Version II
Same rules as above except now there is an added piece, a Witch. The Witch always starts on the King’s side between the Bishop and Knight. If the Witch is killed, it breaks the curse permanently unless a pawn promotes and chooses another Witch. The Witch moves the same way as a King but can’t capture other pieces. The Witch moves only to evade capture. Its only ability is that it provides the curse. Each team can only have one Witch at the most during the game.
