Is that your official vote?

I will vote after the discussion.

Okay, I was just making sure. Unless something drastic happens I will most likely abstain.

I think it's Asparagusic acids. Nh4 was a completely pointless move. A commoner might play badly, but they won't play pointlessly, especially in a position like this.

My idea was to put on f5 to put pressure on the h6 pawn, also you made an obvious blunder.

Yes, I did make a blunder. I completely missed Nxd3. Regarding Nh4, your explanation makes 0 sense. Nh4 doesn't help put pressure on h6 and it doesn't prepare for f5.

My idea was 0-0-0 then nf5 to get a winning attack on the black king.

Oh, Nf5. You said f5 the first time. Nf5 makes more sense.

It would have been completely winning if you castled and then nf5.

NotGeneralGrant

It would have. That's the thing I can't get over. I'm a commoner, and the mole is playing better than I am. I made an obvious blunder that cost us the advantage, I look like the mole, and I have no way to defend myself.

Lol, even a 1400 rated daily player would be able to see that black has potential discovered attacks, and double check his/her move to see wether black has a tactic.

NotGeneralGrant

Well, I think I'm overrated by about 100 points because I keep getting paired with lower rated opponents, but I still should have seen that.

Exactly, you just admitted that you where the mole

Nd3+ was by no means obvious. After 0-0-0 however, Black would have an opportunity to play g5 and win back the piece. Nh4 was not good at all; 0-0-0 would have been better imo

No, I'm not the mole.

So missing a move makes you a mole now? No; if that were the case, TheGreatAttorney would have been voted off by now.

Yes, I agree. It's the small mistakes, not the huge blunders.
