A very wise move, protecting the crucial c6, d5, and f5 squares. Definitely not 7. ... Bxe6??
8. (Kd3 Kc2)

Yeah I thought I could always take the pawn later, and it is better to solidify my position and prepare a mating net first.

This time I'm black (i have no idea how to play black)

Instead of Qd6, which was an obvious blunder, Qh3 was much better, and Black should have been just winning.

MustangMate

With best play - Black wins. There exists a single plan by Black that wins, otherwise, as in the previous game, White was winning. Good to know ALL the standard rules, and agreed upon ... such as K X K Wins for White. meaning if within 1 square of the Black King and on the move, it's checkmate K X K.

Monster chess was one of the 1st variants, along with bughouse. Some played losers, Kings could not be captured, checks enforced, whole different game than todays versions.

MustangMate

Playing Black is easy. (Besides not losing your King)

A hint to the plan -

What is needed to checkmate the White King?
